MOVIN' ON UP!

GEORGE FELIX ALLEN JR.

Macaca-gate continues to pay dividends for his competitor, Democrat Bill Webb, a veteran and former Secretary of the Navy. Felix has lost support among ALL demographic groups, but most especially among younger voters, who have gone from +23 to -17, an amazing swing of 40 points. Since an identical poll taken at the end of June, when Felix was sporting a 19-point lead, the margin is now down to three, as Felix leads Webb 48% to 45%. Full results can be found here. This is nothing short of astonishing given that at the beginning of the year, this guy was one of the (very) early frontrunners for the Republican nomination for president in '08. Now, he might not even get re-elected. Macaca-gate will not die and Felix gets the bump for it!
