TAKE THAT, KEN BURNS!

101ST FIGHTING KEYBOARDERS

If you're looking for a heckuva laugh, I strongly recommend checking out War of the Words. It's a pseudo-documentary by Paul H. Henry that explores the right wing blogosphere, aka the 101st Fighting Keyboarders. They're the people who epitomize the phrase "chickenhawk" - those willing to wholeheartedly support Bush's foreign policy by sitting in a darkened room and fighting the war on opinion whilst never actually picking up a gun and going off to fight in said war.
War of the Words is done with all the seriousness of a Ken Burns doc, but with tongue planted firmly in cheek. Of course, the humor will more than likely zoom completely over the heads of the parties in question, but that speaks more to their lack of a sense of humor than anything else.
The first two parts have been released with the subsequent three parts set for release every Thursday. I cannot wait for next Thursday after watching the first two parts. I'll even post a reminder every Wednesday and Thursday so that my few faithful readers don't forget.
Go check it out.

and it is even funnier if you have seen ken burns' pbs civil war special - the satire may not be as effective if you have not.
